CLUE calls for 11 different locations, a secret passageway, and an opening portrait that doubles as a hidden safe. When I designed this show, I wanted to have mobile, double-sided flats that could be angled and combined to create different looks and locations quickly and easily. When I scenic charged it, I made some creative choices with the portraiture that I initially included - because they are in this creepy mansion, giving the faces more of a "ghoulish" look was more fitting. Otherwise, it was a lot of simple shading for the base colors of the flats, wood grains, and small intricate details on the CS structures.
