Based on the 1988 film and cult classic, Heathers follows Veronica Sawyer as she navigates the clique of girls all named Heather and having a boyfriend with a savior complex who believes death is the best option. I designed this show with a lot of signage, vacuform brick from stock, and with the intention that it would overall have a "dingy 80s high school" feel to it (hence the gum on the lockers). The stairs and the pull-out units from under the platform were on casters and repurposed several times, calling for an attention to detail from all angles.
