SILENT SKY

Taking place in our intimate black box space, Silent Sky follows the historic figure Henrietta Leavitt making incredible scientific discoveries of our universe through the stars, all while handling society's expectations of her role as a woman in the workplace. I managed a team of 2-5 people of varying experience levels in scenic painting who were willing to help with our tight paint schedule. Most of this show called for wood graining and a fun starry night texture! :) I also had the opportunity to work as the lighting designer, which gave me direct insight and opportunity to experiment with stage color theory!
